Today we’re going to make a beautiful spring treat made from strawberries and sweet white chocolate! Between the delicious fresh flavors and beautiful pastel colors, they are the definition of springtime.
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- Food coloring
Wash and gently dry your strawberries.
Divide your chocolate and coconut oil into 6 bowls.
Put 3 of your bowls into the microwave for one minute. Stir, place back in microwave for 30 seconds.
Remove from microwave and add a different color of food dye to each of the 3 bowls, stir well. Dip each berry into a bowl, rotating colors, and gently shake to get residual chocolate off. Once dipped, lap flat on a plate lined with parchment paper.
Once all berries have been dipped, place plate in the fridge to let berries cool for approximately 20 minutes. Remove once chocolate has hardened.
Place remaining 3 bowls of white chocolate chips in the microwave and repeat earlier steps, stirring, and adding different colors of food dye.
Transfer chocolate to piping bags and pipe onto dipped strawberries, rotating colors. Once finished, place in fridge to cool.
