Chia seed pudding has been such a popular food I’ve seen floating around on the internet this past year. I love how easy it is to make and how nutritious and delicious it is on it’s own, or integrated into other foods. Head below to get the recipe and try it out!
- 1 cup nut milk (I usually use almond milk)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- Maple syrup (optional to sweeten)
Add your chia seeds and nut milk to a container and mix really well.
Refrigerate for about an hour, remove from fridge and mix again. Pop back in the fridge for a few hours until the chia seeds absorb the almond milk and a thick, pudding-like consistency has formed.
Enjoy on its own, with fresh fruit, or mixed into your smoothies or oatmeal.
***You can easily change your chia seed to nut milk ratio to make it more or less thick!
